For starters, you won’t be met with shame, guilt, or condemnation, because our church is a group of imperfect people saved by the Grace of Jesus. We welcome all people from every generation and background. No matter what you’ve been through or what questions you might have about God and faith, our church is a place where you’ll find the love, grace, and forgiveness that Jesus offers everyone. So Come as you are!

In all things, we love and worship Jesus with all of hearts. So, you’ll find people here who want nothing more than to love, value, and support you and your family. Why? Because that’s how Jesus feels about you!

Our heart is built into our Church’s name: New Life. All we want is for people to experience Jesus like we have and find the New Life that is only found in Him. For this reason, we treat every moment of our lives, both public and private, like we are personally representing Jesus.

It is our heart to show people the hope found in Jesus and to take as many of those people to Heaven with us as possible. So, that means we care about you and your family! We want you to be a part and help you in any way that we can and we hope that you decide New Life is the place for you! However, more than anything, we hope you find that Jesus is everything you will ever need.

On your first visit, we ask New Visitors to turn on their vehicle hazard lights so we can direct you to VIP parking right beside the building! From there, we plan to greet you at the door, learn your name, and give you a free gift on us. At this point, we give you all the information you might need for that morning (Bathroom locations, Kids church check-in, etc). Most days you’l also get to meet the Pastor and shake His hand at the front door and then finally be shown into the sanctuary where we will have service. We do ask that you come at least 10 minutes before service time so we can properly welcome you!

Our kid’s experiences are age-appropriate and are available for kids aged birth through 5th grade. Our New Life Kids Ministries are all located in in the same building as the adults just on the other side of our main entrance. When you arrive on Sunday, just look for the flags or speak to our Greeting Team and they can help you find the correct location for your kids.

For grades 6th-12th, students remain in the service with the Adults until worship (songs) are complete. After this, they are dismissed by the Pastor to go with the Youth Ministry Team to their own building for their own, teen specific service.

It is our desire to see every man, woman, and child in the Roanoke Valley have repeated opportunities to see, hear, and respond to the gospel. So, every week, you will find passionate and authentic worship, gospel-centered preaching, and a vibrant kids ministry here at our church trying to accomplish that goal. Services begin with worship (songs), transition into announcements and offering, transition to the Sermon, and close almost always with an opportunity for people to accept Jesus as their Savior.

Whether you’ve been around church all of your life or this is your first time stepping foot in a church, we want to make your experience welcoming.

At New Life, we hold firm that the Bible is the infallible Word of God. With that being said, we are a full-gospel Bible teaching Church. We believe that everything in the Bible is for us today in some regard and we intend to let the Bible do its job as we simply communicate what is already written.

Given that we are a multi-ethnic and multi-generational church, we embrace all forms of music as long as it glorifies the name of Jesus. From Sunday to Sunday, you might hear some classic hymns that many Christians grew up listening to or you could hear the most recent Christian worship songs that are being sung on the radio.
