Membership

We know you’ve prayed, reflected, and searched for a                                                          church to partner with to further the Gospel. We’re                                                            deeply grateful that God has led you to consider                                                                    New Life as your church.

To become a member of New Life, we simply ask                                                                    that you embrace our mission and vision, live out                                                                      our core values, and show consistency in three key                                                             areas; attending church, serving the Body of                                                                          Christ, and giving to the Lord. As you commit to                                                                    these spiritual disciplines and walk with us in our                                                             mission, you are welcomed as a member                                                                                       of New Life.

As you continue seeking His direction, we want                                                                        you to know how honored we are to walk this                                                                     journey with you. Our mission is simple: to reach the                                                                  lost and deepen the saints. Below are a few things we’d                                                   like for you to know as you take that next step.

Expectations

(Galatians 6:1-5, Proverbs 27:17)

Everyone who is a member at NLCM is expected to show consistency in three areas. When accepting membership, you are are also accepting accountable              correction from church leadership in these areas.

Attendance

Attendance

(1 Thessalonians 5:11, Hebrews 10:24-25)

This includes Sunday services as well as attendance in a life group. We know it us unreasonable to expect everyone to be at church every time the doors are open, life happens. This area of accountability is solely to make sure we are following biblical commands to be together!

Service

Service

(1 Corinthians 12:12-27)

We expect members to faithfully serve in our ministries. We all have a gift that God has given us and if we don’t exercise that gift, the Body of Christ suffers loss. We need you!

Giving

Giving

(Luke 6:38, 2 Corinthians 9:6-15)

God doesn’t need our money to accomplish His mission, but giving is an expectation that is commanded in both the Old and New Testaments in Scripture. The act of giving acknowledges God as Provider and is an act of worship. Giving comes with a promise as well! The measure we give is given back to us, multiple times over. So whatever we can give, we can expect a blessing in return.

Membership Benefits

So you’ve declared membership, what does that mean? Here are a few things available to you  as a member at New Life.

Volunteer Leadership Opportunities

Every volunteer who wishes to lead a ministry must first be a member of NLCM. We include this in our list of perks as servant leadership is one of the highest forms of sacrifice we can make in our pursuit of becoming more like Christ. Leadership is difficult, but also incredibly rewarding.

Building Rentals

As a member, you can enjoy the ability to rent our church facilities for you events. Whether it's a wedding, birthday party, or meeting, our spaces are available to help make your special moments even better.

Individual Discipleship Plan

Members at New Life can request a personalized spiritual growth plan that will help guide them further in their journey with Jesus. It starts by filling out this spiritual journey survey to let us know where you are now. We will then create a plan for you to help you become a disciple of Christ!
